15 Windows shortcuts which you should have hands on
We keep searching for new ways to improve our productivity with our computer, one of the most searched and desired of this series is ‘Shortcuts’, Here is a list of some shortcuts which will help your with this. I would suggest you to create shortcut files for each of them and have it in some folder or desktop or even assign some hot key. I have given example and a video at the end.
To, use them simply type in the text below, the functionality (written in bold), in the ‘Run’ command, i.e. ‘Windows + R’ key combination too.

2. My Computer with C drive selected:

3. My Network Places:

5. Task Manager:

6. Computer Management:

8. Volume Control:

9. Date and Time Properties:

10. Logoff:
shutdown.exe -l
11. Switch User / Lock Computer:
rundll32.exe user32.dll LockWorkStation
12. Hibernate:
rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState
13. Restart:
shutdown.exe -r
14. Shutdown:
shutdown.exe -s
15. Shutdown (abort):
shutdown.exe -a

How to create shortcuts for quick access:
You can now create Shortcuts and keep them on your desktop to access these items easily, here is the illustration, which shows how to create a shortcut of these items,
Right click on the desktop, choose ‘New’, then ‘Shortcut’.

Creating Shortcuts Step 1
Type the text or code, in the text box as shown below.
Enter the title or name for your shortcut

Click ‘Finish’ to get the Shortcut.
