6 Cool extensions you can use with Flock

After hearing a lot of buzz for Flock 1.0 , I moved into the extension provided by them. Its similar to Firefox Extensions but way too different. Extensions like Keyboard scramble, Me.dium Twitter bar I decided to try them out. Here are some cool extensions which I would recommend.,

Me.Dium – Walk around with friends

Me.dium allows you to signup for their service and the use the extension to surf around with friends together. You can see them in the widget moving from one place to another. Read More on Medium

Key Scramblers

This extension is a very good effort if you are very scared of Keyloggers. It defeats the keyloggers by encrypting the keystrokes before it reaches browser’s text box. Learn more about keyloggers. Also works on also on IE7 and FF2.0.6. Get It here

Twitterbar

Its similar to twitter extension we use in Firefox., I use gTalk for twitter which I find much easier. If you want to use flock and you are into social sites This one is cool Get Twitterbar for flock. and Best part is Twitterbar allows you to post from your browsers address bar. Whish is different for sure.

This gives you an extra hand than just being taking snapshots. It can even allow you to send directly to photo uploader like photobucket or piczo. Download Screenshot .( Its the most popular download. and there is no doubt about it )

Dom Inspector

If you are in programming, This can be a good tool if you want to inspect structures and other things in DOM. Download Dom Inspector

GeoFlock

Its a suite of in-built maps and mapping tools. You can create and save a sidebar map using the addresses on browser or manually You can also sneak to look at traffic Info, local search, directions, and view in Google earth option and others. Get GoeFlock here

If you want to make an extension of yours create a developer account first. and they will guide you with initial info out of the extension xpi and you can edit this info later. However all extensions must be reviewed and approved by Flock staff before they are posted.
