A cell phone which will not need a recharge – A Nokia Vision
The idea sounds like a dream, but Nokia is all set to turn out this dream into a reality. Nokia is working hard to develop a technology using which the cell phones won’t need to be recharged at all.

The technology will be enough power from ambient radio waves to keep your cell phone going on and on without any recharge.
The electromagnetic radiations emitted by different sources like from Wi-Fi transmitters, cell-phone antennas, TV masts, and other sources, will be converted into enough electrical current to keep a battery topped up, and to increase the amount of power that can be harvested and the range at which it works, Nokia is focusing on harvesting many different frequencies.

I always dreamt of a cell-phone which never required a recharge; however my idea was to get it recharged by amplifying the speech signals, sounds funny, and definitely speech signals are probably not so powerful to deliver so much power, but may be a cell-phone with some very very limited features can be created, however this approach even if realistic isn’t required now.
If we get this technology at some very cheap cost then only it would be worth, because such kind of tech is useful in locations like Rural India, where the availability of electricity is an issue, and the masses here are not very rich either.
All the best to Team Nokia, we hope we soon have a cell-phone which will not need any recharge, and come for some easy to reach prices.

that sounds amazing i always think about it when i travel and my phone shows battery low although i have travel charger but this idea is really very good but would it affect human with its electromagnetic radiations.
