ast week I was contacted by Steven Gianvecchio, one of the co authors who did a case study on the topic Measurement and Classification of Humans and Bots in Internet Chat. AST settimane sono stato contattato da Steven Gianvecchio, uno dei co autori che hanno fatto un caso di studio sul tema misurazione e classificazione delle persone e Bot in Internet Chat. As a summary this case study documented how the abuse of chat services by automated programs, known as chat bots, poses a serious threat to Internet users. Come una sintesi questo caso studio documentato come l'abuso dei servizi di chat da programmi automatizzati, noto come chat bot, rappresenta una grave minaccia per gli utenti di Internet. Chat bots target popular chat networks to distribute spam and malware. Chat bot obiettivo popolari reti di chat per distribuire spam e malware.

In this paper, we first conduct a series of measurements on a large commercial chat network. In questo documento, si effettua una prima serie di misurazioni su una grande rete commerciale di chat. As a conclusion we are not sure what yahoo chat is doing about it but their captcha check is serious failure and it has done nothing but added problems because of which even regular users don’t get access to chat rooms, Pity. In conclusione non siamo sicuri di quale sia la chat di Yahoo sta facendo al riguardo, ma il loro controllo captcha è grave fallimento e che non ha fatto nulla ma ha aggiunto problemi a causa della quale anche gli utenti regolari non ottenere l'accesso alle chat room, Pietà. We hope they do something about it with time. Ci auguriamo che fare qualcosa con il passare del tempo.
