Add to Google Reader in Feedburner Email Subscriptions
Seems like Google is experimenting with Feedburner. Last time I saw the the summary links and today there is Add to Google Reader button right below the title of the Main Title.
This would be a good option as our Email readers can directly move to online reader if they prefer. In fact if this could be configurable, publishers can add more options.
However the disadvantage here is readers will subscribe to Feedburner url even if you are using MyBrand feature of Feedburner. So in case you plan to move the count might drop.

It seems like a nice, subtle enhancement, unless subscribers have images disabled in their e-mail. In Thunderbird, when images are off it shows up as a giant, distracting “Add to Google” link, since they appear to be wrapping the image in the same heading (h1) as the feed’s title. Wish we had some way to adjust that…
Along with this change, I also noticed that instead of publishing the summary I set up it now publishes the entire post. I don’t really want it this way but I suppose I’m stuck with it.
I noticed this recently. But I don’t encourage this. This is just to increase the use of Google Reader usage.
