Add Yahoo! Pingbox to your Facebook Profile
Recently, I wrote a post, Chat with the visitors Live on your site with Yahoo! Pingbox, and there in comments, came this query by Ahmed Ansari, who wanted to know the procedure of adding Yahoo! Pingbox to Facebook account, so here is the procedure in video followed by more description after that.
Create a Pingbox for yourself, and later when you are on the Step 2, which is as shown below, here you need to copy the code, choosing the ‘Code only’ option, choose the size of Pingbox as per your choice.
Now,
- Login to your Facebook account,
- Click on the ‘Edit’ button in applications dock,
- This will take you to the list of Facebook Applications, here, choose, ‘My Web Embed’,
- Now on this page choose ‘Edit Embeds’,
- Add “New Embed”
- Enter the Title and paste the code here.
Now you are ready with your Yahoo! Pingbox, on the Facebook account, visitors of your profile, can see the Pingbox under the ‘Wall’ tab on your profile, and whenever you are online on your Yahoo messenger, they can chat with you.
