This is one of the common problem which I used to face in college times. Este es uno de los problemas comunes que he usado para hacer frente a veces en la universidad. Some of the software used to still have the entry in Add / Remove section of windows XP even if I have used the un-installer to remove the application or program. • Type regedit in your run dialog box [Win Key + R] Escriba regedit en el cuadro de diálogo Ejecutar [Gane clave de R +]
• Now look for the this string HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\uninstall. Ahora busca la esta cadena HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Uninstall.
• If the software name is still here which you removed already, delete it from here. Si el software sigue siendo el nombre que aquí ya se quitó, también se borre de aquí.
• This will delete it’s entry from the windows ADD/ Remove Section Esto también se borre la entrada de las ventanas en Agregar o quitar Sección

This should work on Windows Vista as well though I have not tested it yet. Esto debería funcionar en Windows Vista y aunque no la he probado aún. I will update here If I do. Voy a actualizar aquí Si yo.

TIP: Always use Add/Remove utility of Windows XP.Vista to remove program. SUGERENCIA: Siempre utilice Agregar o quitar la utilidad de Windows para eliminar XP.Vista programa.
