We have talked about several Image editing tools and also about some resources which allow you to have fun with your photos.

Here is another image editing tool, which can help you crop your photos, and at the same time this online tool helps you to add rounded corners and shadow effect in your photos.

The interface of Cut My Pic is very simple and damn easy to use, all you need to do is browse the photo on your local storage, and click ‘Go’ to upload the photo, as soon as the photo is uploaded, in the next step you can crop, rotate, add rounded corners and drop shadow to you photo, also you can click on the preview to see if the photo has taken shape as per your requirement, as shown below.

Once you are done, in the next stage you can save the new photo or you can directly send the photo to someone via email.

This one goes for designers who try to figure out which colour combination would be best if they are out to design applications or websites. Swatch Spot is an online tool which generates swatch or strip of 6 colours which goes with each other.

And if you did like the combination you can save the pallets to your personal pallet library in your computer and use it as in Image. Since each colour has its hexadecimal values along with it you dont have to run around picking each colour to see what it meant.

Phrasr is a cool online tool which lets you create phrases with images added to each word of it. This is really cool way to make any body smile.

What this application does it find images related to the word and then plays i like a greeting card. In case you dont like the image you can search for an alternate choice by just clicking on it.

Though I found the number of images resulting in search less in count but overall this is an interesting way to say someone sorry or make her smile. Go and create your own Phrase.

Quickly create Polaroid pictures

Manav talked about an application which simulates actually how Polaroid pictures are created, in fact you can see it getting developed like it happens in labs. Today we found another application, Rollip, which creates a Polaroid by adding some effects and images to convert any of your picture to Polaroid picture in seconds. Here is one sample :

All you need to have an image ready and choose an appropriate design from the gallery. It creates the Polaroid quickly and gives you a link which is used for sharing with friends.

Extract images from GIF file with Gif explode

GIF Images are collection of images glued together to run in a loop which makes it seem as dynamic images which changes constantly. This is the reason it takes a little more time to download gif images than other formats like png etc.

GIF Exploder is an online tool which allows you to extract all the frames or images from any gif file when uploaded. This is helpful when you need certain parts of GIF images for your work or project.

All you need is to upload the file and wait for the result. As of now I did not see any restriction but it is there certainly . You can also use a direct url to any GIF hosted online.

Images are often the reason behind the delayed loading of a webpage, optimizing the images is the solution, though this degrades the quality of image, but the loading time decreases which is definitely more important as compared to the loading time.

Here is an online tool, which can optimize the images for you. Online Image Optimizer does both, optimize, as well as convert the images to other file formats.

The interface is quite simple as shown below; you can either load an image from your computer or directly using a URL link.

File format could be gif, jpg or png with max size 300Kb.

Once the image file has been selected, you can click on the optimize button, to get the results, if you wish to change the file format as well, use the drop-down menu to get the options as shown above, also you can use the checkbox in order to get all the results (this allows you to easily make the best choice, so that the optimized image you use doesn’t look very pixilated).

Once on the home page of TOURS FROM ABOVE you can choose a category and later click on the place which you want to tour.

Once clicked the tour starts and the aerial view of the place gets loaded with full controls, so that you can browse it from any angle you wish to.

Some places also have a nice music being played while you are touring, which renders an awesome experience to this tour.

Image Sorter makes finding images easier

As the amount of pictures grow it becomes tougher to find images in huge heap specially when you only remember part of it and finding images by name never works because most of the time we just dont name them, We dump them in folder which might have got a better naming convention

Image Sorter is one application which is trying to help you find images in much easier way using the special filter of colour, shape and similar image i.e. matching with another image.

Also apart from this it gives you full screen view with a map which usually show up in combat games. This map helps you only when you have a huge number of image and you hate scrolling it.

And along with the quick toolbar on the left you can quickly sort and switch between date, color, size and name.

Overall it makes your search pretty easy and lets you find images which you can visualize a little. However I feel that search by sketch needs to be improved and needs a finer brush to draw. Its too big to draw minute details there. Download Image Sorter
