Brown Baron: Analog Ideas in Digital World

Welcome to the Third post of TechBlogger’s Face-Off series and Today We are going to talk to Brown Baron, A tech blogger who gives his Analog Ideas in Digital World, Pretty Interesting. He blogs about articles from Browsers to Videos. Lets get to know Baron and What he brings as a Technology Blogger in this.

Ashish: What did spark the idea of Tech blogging to you ?

Brown Says: I’ve always been addicted to technology. When I hang out with family and friends we would always talk about tech-related things. Having a blog about technology seemed to be the next logical step for me.

Blogging has been an incredible experience for me. I’ve made a lot of great friends through my blog and I’m learning something new every day. The best part is that I’ve discovered a lot of crazy bloggers just like me heh.

Ashish: How your blog helps readers to understand technology ?

Baron Says: I talk about technology in a casual manner instead of delivering lectures. I would like visitors to my blog to feel that they’re getting information from a trusted friend. Posts on my blog have a conversational feel to them and often include humor.

Technology is fun and that’s what my blog is about. If a person visits my blog and thinks that it’s a fun place to be, then I’ve accomplished my goal.

Ashish: Which point you think is very crucial in Tech Blogging ?

Baron Says: Credibility and a sense of humor are the most important traits for any Tech blogger.

You can’t just publish anything you see on the internet, you have to make sure it’s true. If you’re writing about a rumor, you have to make it clear that it’s not confirmed. If you’re writing about products or “how-tos”, you have to make sure that it works.

A sense of humor is critical to a Tech blog. Don’t take yourself too seriously. If you made a mistake, admit it. If your readers correct you, thank them and update your post.

Ashish: Before making a post how you analyze it?

Baron Says: Research and verification is important. I look for the best way to present the subject I’m writing about. Before writing a post I always imagine myself as a regular reader. If the post isn’t helpful or interesting enough, I forget about it and write about something else.

Ashish: What kind of readers you are targeting ?

Baron Says: I write for all people regardless of age or gender. Gamers, geeks, average computer users, web surfers, bloggers, anyone with an internet connection hehe.

Ashish: How you measure that readers have grown with your blog in terms of knowledge?

Baron Says: The regular conversation in the comments section show that people are having fun discovering and discussing the topics that I’ve written about. I’ve learned a lot from my visitors, and sometimes they even learn from me haha. It’s a two-way street and that’s how it was meant to be.

Ashish: How you target new visitors to become a reader?

Baron Says: Provide information in a unique and fun way. Make visitors feel like the blog is a great place to hang out. Provide a lively comment section. Trying to hypnotize them through my monitor (hasn’t worked yet heh).

Ashish: How you see you and your blog after 5 yrs ?

Baron Says: My blog will always be a place where people can relax and talk. It will remain a source of Tech information presented in a unique way. A forum might be present by that time for people who would like to continue their conversations. Brown Thoughts will always be a fun and crazy place to hang out.

And sometimes we Think tech bloggers are serious, I doubt it. Great, so this was Brown Baron and His views about technology and tech blogging.
