Call to India this Diwali in 4.9c/Min from Yahoo Messenger
This week India is celebrating Diwali on 8th and 9th. On occasion of this grand festival Yahoo Messenger Service “Phone Out” has reduced the call rate for India to 4.9 cents per minutes ( that comes to less than 2 INR per minute) pretty cheap. I have heard calling India is pretty costly unless your house does have computer where you can use the Yahoo Messenger Voice service already.
You will have to signup for the service and use yahoo messenger itself to call Indian Numbers. This will be very useful if you want to call remote places. Read the Complete details on their Diwali Special Page.
This reduced calling rate to India is available from November 8 at 10:30am PST (Nov. 9, 12am IST) until November 9, 10:29am PST (Nov. 10, 11:59pm IST). and after that the rates will increase to 7.9c per minute
