Can Robots get social right ?
The world of Information Technology is advancing 10 fold every year,There is no pause, Right from microprocessors to robotis.Robotics , thats what future is!. Movies like Terminator and I Robot have given the world a vision what can robots can do in time.
But with the advancement of Artificial intelligence and Robots becoming more human , the question is “How long can you keep robots to work for you ?” I don’t think you can !. If somebody had seen animated version of Matrix , you can get to know the machines with AI will be more powerful enough to rise as they dont have physical boundaries like Humans.I give you a small analysis of the this topic.Have a look.
According to the study of british government Robots can on day demand citizenship and same rights as humans. Its till time to it but as robots are getting smarter Artificial Intelligence, in 50yrs time will come when you will be seeing robots sharing the same neighborhood with you.
The 246 summary papers, called the Sigma and Delta scans, were complied by futures researchers, Outsights-Ipsos Mori partnership and the US-based Institute for the Future. They say its not about making a future forecast but somebody has to sit and think what future holds for humans,Th research says that there will be a monumental shift if they start learning on their own adn start reproducing in terms of “mechanical reproduction“.
If they can do that they will be able to design there future babies and there skills. Its possible for humans to have designer babies for sure. But if the robots starts too can create problems.Though according to the stats its still 50 yrs to reach that state.Conversely, society would also have a duty of care to their new digital citizens, the report says.It also warns that the rise of robots could put a strain on resources and the environment.
What do you think about this? Robot living right next to you with a family ? or on a walk…will you be able to accept ? Can humans really accept another species competition….i dont think so…do you ?
