Control Everything of Windows from Command Line : Wizmo

If you are keyboard power user and hate to use mouse all the time  for everything, You should  try Wizmo ( Windows Gizmo !!). This custom utility comes with a human remembered built in commands, which are easy to remember and lets you control most aspects of Windows.   Here is a list of what it can do and its the not the complete list.

  • standby  —  trigger Windows’ standby mode ( e.g Wizmo standby )
  • hibernate  —  triggers Window’s long-term hibernation
  • logoff  —  log off the current user
  • lock  —  lock the workstation
  • blindlock  —  lock the workstation & power-off monitors
  • exit  —  exit Windows
  • reboot  —  restart (reboot) the computer
  • shutdown  —  shutdown the computer

To make it work from the command line you will have to add the exe to the System Folder. Once placed there all you need is say Wizmo reboot and your computer will go for a reboot.

Apart from the above windows commands it has alos commands ready for

  • DRIVE OPEN (EJECT) and CLOSE (LOAD)
  • WIFI DISCONNECTION PREVENTION COMMANDS
  • WINDOWS SCREEN SAVER COMMANDS
  • AUDIO CONTROL COMMANDS
  • GRAVITON SCREEN SAVER PARAMETERS

I am already using it from couple of days and usage of my touchpad has gone down by like 40%.  It will take sometime to get used to the commands but as the commands are more like human words , it should be quick. Give Wizmo a try
