I have been in situations where I just need to post a quick audio message to deliver it to my groups of friends  to let them know small detail on a plan or birthday party but the only option was to send a group SMS or call them and start a chain reaction.

Of course Google SMS service in India is better option but then if there is a delay you are still stuck.  Audio Boo is one service which I find pretty useful for scenarios on parallel lines. It allows you to create a 3 minute audio with small description and picture and share it with your friends or community.

Why not right a small text and dumb it on the web somewhere? Well expressing is important and text is no close with audio expression. If people here you they pay more attention to it when compared to a small text…

Audio Boo is specifically built to use with an iPhone.  (Didn’t find any desktop application till now.)  The application lets you record, add text, add image using camera or any existing one and then you hit publish.

The one you see above is list of audio message by different people expressing their views with pictures.  If I compare AudioBoo with twitter they are on same line. Twitter lets you put text and this comes with audio and yes obviously all those images and text.

Overall an excellent service. I would have loved it more if I can have a desktop application to do that. Just hit record and publish job done.  So if you got an iPhone don’t miss this application.
