Feel free to publish your e-mail address on Internet with Tinymail

Publishing your e-mail on internet is strictly a No-NO, and might become an open invitation for bots, making it a principle, not to give your e-mail address anywhere, irrespective of situation, might, help, but again at times you feel it necessary to publish your e-mail address. Replacing the ‘@’ with ‘at’, and ‘.’ with ‘dot’, or using the image of the text of e-mail is also helpful.

However, Tinymail seems to be the solution, this online tool is handy enough, just type your e-mail address on the page and hit the ‘protect it’ button.

Now you get HTML code, BB code, and a link which reveals your e-mail address, whoever wants to get your e-mail needs to go through Captcha, in order to get it.

However, there is an analysis on ghacks, which talks about the two flaws of this internet-tool,

  • Adds one more step to the contact process, i.e. finding your e-mail address is a lengthier process now.
  • Security using Captcha, is questionable.

So what do you think about it ? Should Tinymail, be used for e-mail publishing or not? Have your say, I am still in dilemma.
