Find Webcams on Google maps : Travelers Guide

Google maps has added one more layer, Webcams which pulls all the camera location, screenshot taken 15 minutes ago , from webcams.travel, a site that lists more than 9000 webcams around the globe.

How this is useful for you and me ?  Webcam Travels is used by people who are out  for tourism, holiday, vacation, leisure and travel and since these webcam screen shots are updated in every 15 minutes this is majorly helpful if you planning a safer road trip or a small tour package. You can see whats there and what it looks like even before you actually start traveling.

I tried searching to find something in India and bingo. There is one webcam which shows me the Mountains of Arunachala, Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India,

So if you are planning to travel from lets say Chennai to Tiruvannamalai mountains, just type in  and you would get complete direction list.  The next obvious thing is you can get it printed by using the print icon on top right.

My Idea on How Printed version of this can look like

However you will not see any pictures which I was actually expecting. I mean at least a printer version which shows all the webcams snapshot. That would make travel more exciting If I can show people where I am travelling. May be something like this.

This would be actually useful in my opinion. Snapshots of all main places, small map preview. In fact I can just create my own travel guide and put this as reference. May be somebody can come up with a API which runs on top of this to create a version which I shows above. May be the Google maps  Team can think on similar lines.
