Find where it gets connected during software update or watching video
Many a times when a software updates itself or need to download an additional software it does it automatically behind the scenes and all you see is the status and messages which says “Downloading…..” .
Though this is pretty much essential process but if you are interested to find out where are the prgrams connecting to , URL Snooper is a great program to find it.

In the advance mode or URL snooper you can search based on keywords and filter URL that of video files etc. So if you are on you tube for an example, you would see all the FLV files link etc. So if you want to download that video, just copy the url and put in your favorite download manager.
