Fix Wordpress Flash image uploader and Flash 10 Issue
After installing Adobe Flash Player 10 for some reason has disabled the Choose Files to upload button in Wordpress Image uploader ( Flash Uploader ) and it doesn’t work at all. It was working with the Adobe Flash Player 9 version though. May be because of change of any functions or what so ever.
Fix for Wordpress Flash uploader and Flash 10
There is no patch but there is a way around to make the Flash Uplaoder to work again. The answer is to uninstall the FLash 10 version and install back the Adobe Flash Player 9 version.
Get the Flash uninstaller from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#uninstaller . You can find uninstaller for windows or mac both.
Install the Flash 9 version from http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14266&sliceId=1
I am using Windows Vista and Firefox 3. After following the above steps my flash uploader has started working again and finally I can upload multiple files.
