Get the glimpse of Future Firefox (Tabs on Side):
According to a recent post on RWW about the future of Firefox, the future of Firefox will not have tabs, and will come with built-in Ubiquity. Firefox is expected to have iTunes like look, i.e. tabs and all will be accessible from the panel on left.
Tree Style Tab is a Firefox add-on, which allows you to place tabs in Tree Style, i.e. Windows explorer like look.

Links opened from a page, are treated as child (sub folder like thing), and can be collapsed or expanded, a tree like structure.
Why Tree Style Tab?
- Perfect for widescreen displays, utilizes the widescreen to fullest while browsing.
- Links opened from particular page, can be stacked under one tab, allows several tabs to be opened and still keep them in visible, i.e. you get to see more tabs as compared to default horizontal arrangement, without scrolling.
- Operations like close all the tabs opened from a single webpage can be easily done in single click.
You can access the Options for the Tree Style Tab from the add-ons under tools menu. Here you can choose the tab bar position, Appearance of Tab bar, twisties etc.

Several other options can be accessed under Menu, Tab Operations, Auto Hide etc.
So, go ahead and get the glimpse of future Firefox, moreover this is a cool add-on for the people with widescreen displays. Install Tree Style Tab Via Read Write Web
