Get Windows 7 UAC feature in Windows Vista
Smart UAC replacement is an application which runs on top of default UAC except that it is more configurable and remembers your choice for the applications , this is similar to the UAC which is coming in Windows 7. This is a very good replacement specially for Windows Vista users who either disable UAC or just Live with it.
Disabling UAC is not suggested nor recommended as its a protection against malicious executable. Smart UAC will allow you to create list of deny and allow rules which can be edited any time you want.

Windows Smart UAC for Windows XP and Vista
However for the first time usage you will have to train it for sometime so it can create a list. This is the only thing which irritates as it will ask you for even programs like paint or IE unless you have registered all the programs which you commonly use. It would have been lot better if it was able to find some of the common programs auto allow. Not sure if possible though. Thanks for the link Ashish sir
From many sources I learn it that Smart UAC is a badware. I don’t think it is a perfect choice for security use. Instead you can prefer UAC from Norton Labs which make your system more secure while significantly improving user-friendliness.
JK, I will go through Martins post tonight. Norton Labs UAC I will have to see whats inside it. The only thing which irritaed me was asking Smart UAC asking me for each and everything which Vista doesnt.
