Giveaway Nitro PDF Professional : One stop solution to all your PDF needs
PDF files are a very important part of your online life, PDF files are used by all of us, every computer user reads/uses several PDF files during his/her work.
Here we are going to talk about Nitro PDF Professional, which is a one stop solution to all the possible operations on a PDF file. Nitro PDF Professional is not free software; thanks to Richard from the Nitro PDF team who gave me a license, I used it, and I am in love with it, though there is a lot left to be explored.
However we have two licenses for it to be given away for free, to participate in this raffle you just need to make a comment on this post, so, Good Luck!! Last date is Friday 10th 11:30 pm IST
The first thing I liked about it that it has Ribbon tabs, which allows a quick access to several editing, and conversion tools and I had tested on Windows 7.
The ‘Home’ Tab
The first tab is ‘Home’ which has create, combine and convert to PDF options, as shown below.

The Create PDF option provides you the functionality to optimize the PDF file for size, so that you can easily send print or post them.

Conversion feature is versatile enough, comes with options to convert PDF to Word, PDF to RTF, etc.
The ‘Insert and Edit’ tab

Under this tab, you can add Watermark to your PDF files, Header and Footers can also be added. You can extract pages, delete them, replace, attach another file to current PDF, insert link (i.e. you can either link an entity with some page on the same PDF or link to an external URL as well) in your PDF.
The ‘Review’ tab
This is probably the most desired feature, we often come across heavy (loads of data) PDF files, while reading them we feel like adding something in them so that when we come across them next time we don’t have to waste much time, and we come to the point directly without hovering much, as good as taking notes.

Review tab allows you to add sticky, comments, highlighting to your PDF files, with ease.
The ‘Forms’ Tab
Tools to create and fill up the forms are housed under the ‘Forms’ tab, options to add radio buttons, clickable buttons etc. are there.

Another very nice feature under the forms tab is, you can decide the flow for the tabs, and i.e. you can choose how the cursor will move when the user hits the ‘Tab’, calculation order can be also decided.
Option to export and import form data, java script codes can be executed and tested for the correct functionalities.
The ‘Secure and Sign’ Tab

Secure and sign your PDF files, add password, select the recipients and set the access rights for them, profiles can be created for same, if you keep publishing PDF files.
‘View’ and ‘Help’ tabs
View tab provides you different view options for the PDF file, and under the Help tab you can find help on different topics and also can submit any bugs you encounter while using the Nitro PDF Pro.
Nitro PDF Pro associates itself to MS Office, as result, a new tab appears on the MS Office programs, and this offers a one click conversion to PDF from Excel and Powerpoint.

As I said earlier as well, there is still a lot to be explored, so this is not all about the Nitro PDF Pro, it has a wide range of capabilities.
My Experience with Nitro PDF Pro –
- Fast enough.
- Very simple user interface.
- Conversions keep the formatting, as in originals.
So, go ahead and download the trial version, if impressed, you can opt to buy it, and is not very expensive as well. But today we have 2 pro license to giveaway. Just make a sensible comment you might get lucky to a free license. Winners will be chosen randomly. All the Best.

Cool and exhaustive review!!
But how is the quality of conversion from PDF to word and vice versa. This is something which makes the existing converters a big fail.
Anywas, the interface looks quite handy and neat.Well, worth a try.Hope i get to be the lucky one:D
Good job Manav! Thanx for giveaway… i want to win this..
PDF software seems to get more complicated with time. Hopefully this package follows the addage ’simple and functional… what more can you ask for’.
I would really like to win a license for this program. I often need to work with pdf files but I don’t want to use large Adobe Acrobat.
I myself have a full Acrobat suite, but I’d very much love to have a license to give to my brother who is desperatedly strugling to start his own Translating Business. He Dont have the funds to buy one of these suits yet, so if I could give him a free software license, that would be awsome.
Now he has to send everything PDF wise to me and I’m glad to help of course, but I think He (and his clients) would be better off if he could do much of the PDF-related work for himself.
So PLEASE, purdy please,…
May I have a free copy for my litle brother ???
His website is http://www.anglotrans.no/
Thank you !
Mercy! That appears to be a great program. I wouldn’t mind a copy of it. Thanks.
PS. Nice site.
I’d like one too!
