Gmail adds Auto complete in Mail Search
Gmail Labs has rolled out another useful feature which will help you by providing search suggestions for contacts and operators as soon as you start typing in your Searchbox.
Autocomplete Suggestion in Gmail
Remember this is not going to search your mail but only contacts which alos supports using operators like and, or and gmail operators like to:me etc. To use this just go to your Gmail Settings > Labs and search for Autocomplete , you will be at the right place. Activate and use it.
