Google Reader Notifier keeps you updated with unread item counts
Alright time we started checking on Google Chrome extension apart from Firefox extension which we have covered officially over and over here. The first link goes to Google Reader Notifier which keeps you on toe by displaying that you haven’t read “X” number of items in your Google Reader without getting in there.
This is particularly useful when you travel and dont have much time to see the count or spend time on loading the reader completely. Apart from the count it also displays a small preview of latest feed items which is configurable. The best part is that if you are signed in your google account it works out of the box.
