First things first! Prvé vecí, prvý! Always try to avoid accessing your online accounts from public computers (cyber cafes…etc). Vždy sa snažia vyhýbať online prístup k Vášmu účtovníctvo z verejných počítačov (kybernetické kaviarne ... atd). With all the keyloggers that may be stuffed in public computers, they pose a serious security risk to users. So všetkými keyloggers, ktoré môžu byť neplnené vo verejných počítačov, ktoré predstavujú vážne bezpečnostné riziko pre používateľa. Keyloggers mean not just trojans, but commercial keyloggers as well. Keyloggers znamenať nielen trójskych koní, ale komerčné keyloggers rovnako.

What are keyloggers ? Aké sú keyloggers?

Key Loggers are software or hardware tools to that captures the user's keystrokes from keyboard. Zaznamenanie stisknutých klávesov sú softvérové alebo hardvérové nástroje, ktoré sa zachytí užívateľa úhozy z klávesnice. It can be useful to determine sources of error in computer systems and is sometimes used to measure employee productivity on certain clerical tasks. To môže byť užitočné pre určenie zdroja chýb v počítačových systémoch a niekedy sa používajú na meranie produktivity zamestnancov na určité administratívne úlohy. However, keyloggers are widely available on the Internet and can be used by private parties to spy on the computer usage of others hence stealing users private data. Avšak, keyloggers sú široko dostupné na internete a môže byť použitý súkromným osobám na shlédnutí na počítači, využitie iného preto kradne osobné dáta užívateľov.

Our aim here is to confuse the keylogger by making it log some gibberish instead of our valid password. Naším cieľom je tu pletou keylogger tým, že niektoré log blábolení miesto našej platné heslo. Off course, this is not completely foolproof though. Vypnúť to samozrejme nie je úplne neomylný hoci. Nothing is foolproof on the net. Nič nie je neomylný na net. We only have to make it harder for the hacker.(Note: These are tips I personally follow. If you have better ones, let everyone know by commenting here.) Máme len aby bolo ťažšie pre hackera. (Poznámka: Jedná sa o tipy já osobne sledovať. Máte-li lepší, a to takých, nech všetci vedia, ktoré skomentoval tu.)

Types of Key Loggers Typy zaznamenávanie stisknutých klávesov

We'll be dealing with two types of keyloggers; software and hardware keyloggers. Budeme sa zaoberajú dvoma typmi keyloggers, software a hardware keyloggers.

1. Software keyloggers on the other hand are much more complex and hence difficult to deal with. Software keyloggers na druhej strane sú však oveľa zložitejšie, a preto ťažko riešiť. Most of them record keystrokes, mouse events, clipboard activity..etc. Väčšina z nich záznam úderov, myš udalostí, schránky činnosť atď .. So our best bet is to scramble the keystokes smartly. Takže naše najlepšie stávka je tahanice o keystokes elegantne.
2. Hardware keyloggers are much easier to detect. Hardware keyloggers sú oveľa ľahšie odhaliť. They are mostly attached between the keyboard and the CPU. Väčšinou sa pripája medzi klávesnicu a CPU. A manual inspection should be enough in most cases. A manuálna kontroly by mali byť vo väčšine prípadov stačí.

How to confuse and avoid the software keyloggers ? Ako sa pletou a vyhnúť sa softvér keyloggers?

Let's say we have to enter a password 'jazz'. Povedzme, že budeme musieť zadať heslo 'jazz'.

1. Click the password box, type any random key. Kliknutím na heslo zadajte akýkoľvek náhodný kľúč. Select the entered random key with the mouse and type j. Vybrať zadanej náhodný kľúč s myšou a typ j. So we entered the first letter of the password. Tak sme vstúpili do prvé písmeno hesla.
2. Click the password box, type a random key. Kliknutím na heslo zadajte náhodný kľúč. Again click and type a random key. Opäť kliknite na schválenie a náhodný kľúč. Select the last two letters with your mouse and type the next valid key of your password. Vyberte posledné dve písmená s myšou a typ ďalšie platný kľúč hesla.

In this case we managed to enter 2 unwanted characters as against one in the first step. V tomto prípade sa nám podarilo vstúpiť 2 nechcené znaky ako proti jednému v prvom kroku.

Continue in a similar way to finish typing the password. Pokračovať v podobnej ceste k dokončeniu zadanie hesla. You can choose any number of random characters between your password. Môžete si vybrať ľubovoľný počet náhodných znakov medzi svoje heslo.

So the keylogger will log something like: Takže keylogger log bude niečo ako:
[click]b[click]j[click]g[click]m[click]a[click]v[click] z[click]t[click]c[click]z [kliknite] b [kliknite] j [kliknite] g [kliknite] m [kliknite] a [kliknite] v [kliknite] z [kliknite] t [kliknite] c [kliknite] z

Note how we used unwanted mouse clicks so that a mouse click is recorded before the random letters also. Poznámka: ako sme nechcených kliknutí myšou tak, že kliknutím myši je zaznamenaný pred náhodných písmen tiež. You can also experiment entering the password in the reverse order, infact any order. Môžete tiež experimentovať zadaním hesla v obrátenom poradí, infact ľubovoľnom poradí.

This method can be used for entering the username too, since most banks have account numbers as username. Táto metóda môže byť použitá pre zadanie užívateľského mena príliš, pretože väčšina bánk má účet číslo ako prihlasovacie meno. If you are suffering from some keylogger phobia, use this technique while typing the url too. Ak máte nejaké keylogger fóbie, využitie tejto techniky pri písaní url taky.

Another way is utilizing the browser's search bar or address bar to camouflage the password. Ďalšou možnosťou je využitie prehliadača hľadanie bar alebo adresného riadku na zakrytie heslo.
For eg. Napr .. Click the password box and type a letter of the password. Kliknutím na heslo pole a zadajte písmeno jednotky heslo. Now click the browser's address bar or search bar and type some unwanted letters. Teraz nájdete v adresou prehliadača, alebo hľadať bar a typ niektoré nevyžiadanej listy. Alternate between the password box and address/search bar till you finish. Alternatívne medzi kolónky heslo a adresu / search bar, kým sa povrch. The result will be the same as the former method. Výsledok bude rovnaký ako bývalý metódou.

How to find the hardware keyloggers ? Ako nájsť hardvérové keyloggers?

Hardware key loggers are easy to find. Hardware zaznamenávanie stisknutých klávesov sú ľahko k nájdeniu. They are devices which is attached in between keyboard and cpu junction. Sú to zariadenia, ktorá je pripojená medzi klávesnicou a cpu križovatke. If you are really suspicious about them just check the back side of cpu and find if something is fishy. Ak ste naozaj podozrivé o nich len skontrolovať zadnej strane procesoru a zistiť či je niečo rybka. The images will give you a better idea. Obrázky vám dá lepšiu predstavu.

Feeling secure? Pocit bezpečné? Well, this sort of stuff may not work against the really smart keyloggers. No, tento druh veci nemusia fungovať proti naozaj chytrá keyloggers. Yeah, the one's that also take a screenshot when a keystroke or mouse event is detected. Jo, je to tiež, že sa snímka keď stlačení tlačidla myši alebo udalosť zistená.
There's is a solution for that too, but it is cumbersome. Tam to je riešenie pre to taky, ale je to ťažkopádne. Take a Live CD of any of the Linux distributions. Take a Live CD s niektorou z Linuxových distribúcií. Insert and use ( and hope Linux will detect the hardware so you can start surfing; I have read Ubuntu Linux is good.). Even if you can successfully access from the Live CD, don't forget to use the above tips to workaround the hardware keylogger. Again as I mentioned in the beginning, always try to avoid dealing with confidential data from Public Computers.
