How to create favicon quickly and free

Favicon.com is simple online tool which allows you to create favicon for your site quickly. It just takes 4 steps!!!. Upload the image from which you want to create favicon, crop it and it gives you a live preview of how your favicon will look like. Then download it and use it on your site. Not very professional but simple if you don’t want to pay heavy prices for making it.

      But how did you make your favicon scrolls? I use photoshop to make my own favicon. But it needs a plugin to save it as .ico.

      @Cypher: Hey man, I did not use this for my scrolling favicon. One of my friend rishi made it for me long back. I am looking for any site actually which can do this. I hope to find one !!! Right now as you told photoshop is the only option
