How to hide Fonts in Windows 7

While exploring more features in Windows 7, I came across a feature which you might need sometimes to hide any exclusive fonts which you have from others. All you need to do is

  • Go to your Fonts Directory Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Fonts
  • Select the font which you want to hide
  • Right click and select HIDE.

Hide windows 7 fonts

This way the fonts which you did hide away wont be listed in any of the editors line Office or Word. I haven’t checked if this will make it unavailable for others users or not but if yes this is very useful specially when you have a font of your own handwriting.
