Using IMAP and Oultook cold be the best way to read mails as its a synchronized or call it as both ways. Izmantojot IMAP un Oultook auksts ir labākais veids, kā lasīt pastu, tās sinhroni vai zvaniet kā abos virzienos. You change in outlook and it gets reflected on your Gmail account or vice versa. Maināt programmā Outlook, un tas izpaužas atspoguļo jūsu Gmail kontu, vai vice versa. I started using Outlook 2007 and Gmail IMAP service like 2 days back. Es sāku, izmantojot programmu Outlook 2007 un Gmail IMAP pakalpojumu kā 2 dienas atpakaļ. The most irritating part I found was All the labels also get listed along with the default folders of Gmail ( Inbox, sent etc ). Visvairāk kairinošs daļā es atklāju bija visas uzlīmes arī iegūt uzskaitītas kopā ar noklusējuma mapēs Gmail (Inbox, nosūtīts utt.)

Now in case you have lot of labels the folder list on the left navigation panel becomes too long. Tagad, ja jums ir daudz etiķešu mapes sarakstā kreisajā navigācijas paneli kļūst pārāk ilgi. For me I don't search labels all the time even if they are listed there its useless for me. Man Man nav meklēt uzlīmes visu laiku, pat ja tie ir uzskaitīti tur tā nederīga par mani. So this is what I did to remove or you can say hide of those Labels to show in my outlook 2007. Tātad tas ir tas, ko es darīju, lai novērstu vai jūs varat teikt paslēpt no šīs etiķetes rādīt manas izredzes 2007.

• Tools -> Account Settings -> (your Gmail account) -> Change -> More Settings -> Advanced Tools -> Account Settings -> (Jūsu Gmail kontu) -> Change -> More Settings -> Advanced
• Set Root Folder Path to “[Gmail]” without the quotes . Set Root Folder ceļš "[Gmail]" bez pēdiņām.
• If you are set to work offline,  get online first and then right click on Gmail Folder Ja Jums ir noteiktas strādāt bezsaistē, get online vispirms un tad nospiediet uz Gmail Folder
• Click on Update IMAP folders. Noklikšķiniet uz Atjaunināt IMAP mapes.
• Now you will the list of folders gets reduced to All Mail, Inbox,Starred, Inbox ie Now you see only standard Gmail Folders. Tagad jūs mapju saraksts izpaužas samazināts līdz All Mail, Iesūtne, ar zvaigznītēm, Iesūtne ti Tagad jūs redzat tikai standarta Gmail mapes.

Here is an example of my 2 Gmail accounts one with and one without root folder settings. Šeit ir piemērs no maniem 2 Gmail kontu vienu ar un vienu bez saknes mapes iestatījumus. This way I am able to remove the gmail labels from outlook folder list. Šādā veidā es varu noņemt gmail uzlīmes no programmas Outlook Mapju saraksts. However there is one drawbacks in case you want labels it wont show up. Tomēr ir viens trūkumus, ja vēlaties uzlīmes to paradis parādās. I am working on this so I can only see particular folders only. Es strādāju par šo, lai es varētu redzēt tikai īpaši mapes only.
