Recently we underwent training for Microsoft Silverlight and we needed  to install Silverlight tools for Visual Studio 2008 . Nesen mēs veikta apmācība Microsoft Silverlight, un mums ir nepieciešama, lai instalētu Silverlight instrumenti Visual Studio 2008. We downloaded Mēs lejupielādēt Silverlight Tools for Visual Studio installer Silverlight rīki Visual Studio uzstādītājs and started installing but it halted on my machine as I don't have internet connection availble on my machine. un sāka ierīkošanai, bet tas apstādina par manu mašīnu, kā man nav interneta pieslēgums availble par manu mašīnu. This was a problem because anybody who wants to do it will not be able to install unless he or she has internet connection. Tas bija problēmas, jo ikviens, kas grib to izdarīt nevarēs uzstādīt, ja vien viņš vai viņa ir interneta pieslēgums.

Then we started spoofing where the Silverlight tools setup was pointing to ( on internet ) and we found it was trying to download Tad mēs sākām spoofing ja Silverlight darbarīki setup bija norāda uz (internetā), un mēs noskaidrojām, ka tā bija mēģinot lejupielādēt Silverlight 2 Developer Run time Silverlight 2 Izstrādātājs Run laiks . . Then we downloaded it and installed. Tad mēs lejupielādēt to un uzstādīta.

We guessed that since the developer runtime was installed on the machine, the Silverlight Tools for Visual Studio installer will not connect which was not the case. Mēs guessed, ka, tā kā attīstītājs Runtime bija uzstādīta uz mašīnā, Silverlight rīki Visual Studio uzstādītājam netiks savienojumu, kas nav šajā gadījumā. It again was trying to connect to internet. Tā atkal bija mēģina izveidot savienojumu ar internetu. ( I guess Microsoft should fix this by at least checking the version installed ). (I guess Microsoft vajadzētu noteikt vismaz pārbaudot versija uzstādīti).

There was nothing else left except to connect internet and at this moment one of our teammate came with an idea saying like any other installer it must be creating a temporary folder before installing and it will download the Silverlight 2 developer runtime in that. Nebija nekas cits kreisajā izņemot pieslēgt internetu un šobrīd viens no mūsu komandas loceklis ieradās ar ideju, sakot, tāpat kā jebkurš cits uzstādītājam ir jābūt izveidot pagaidu mapi pirms ierīkošanas un tas lejupielādēt Silverlight 2 attīstītājs Runtime in that.

We immediately tool a look at the temporary folders ( %TEMP% ) and bingo it had a folder called as Silverlight Tools RTW .  This can solve one problem that we can put the Developer runtime exe there but since the Silverlight tools will still look to internet it wont work . Mēs nekavējoties rīks Apskatiet pagaidu mapes (% temp%) un loto tā bija mapi sauc kā Silverlight Tools RTW. To var atrisināt vienu problēmu, ka mēs varam likt Izstrādātājs Runtime exe, bet kopš Silverlight instrumenti joprojām izskatās internets tas paradis darbu. However since the setup was some kind of archive thing we were able to extract it and thats it. Tomēr kopš setup bija sava veida arhīvu mums bija iespēja iegūt to un tas ir tas.

One of the The extracted file was named Vs_silverlight_tools.exe . Viens no ekstrahēto failu tika nosaukts Vs_silverlight_tools.exe. We just ran it and Silverlight tools was installed. In Short the VS_Silverlight_tools.exe either did not check if the Developer runtime was installed or may be it did. We were not sure on this but anyway our problem was solved. Mēs tikai vadīja to un Silverlight darbarīki bija uzstādīts. Īsumā VS_Silverlight_tools.exe nu nav pārbaudīt, vai Developer Runtime bija uzstādīts vai var būt tā. Mums nav pārliecināti par šo, bet tomēr mūsu problēma tika atrisināta.

I cant provide you with a screen shot here as I cant take anything out of my office and I cant simulate the same thing on my machine at home. Es aprunāt nodrošināt Jūs ar ekrāna nošauti šeit kā es aprunāt pieņemt kaut ko no mana biroja, un es aprunāt modelētu pats par manu mašīnu mājās. But this should solver your problem. Taču tas būtu solver savu problēmu.
