How to paste formatted text to any application without formatting

Whenever we copy  text from an application, Internet page or from a word document it carries along  the formatting i.e.  Formatted text, styled text or rich text, along with it.  Many a times this is not desired. You would just prefer the text and then format it depending on where you paste it and how you want it to look like.

Till now I used to copy the text to notepad ( where there is no formatting at all ) and then copy it to the application where I wanted to use it.  Today I found a new software which does this job for me when I copy from any where. It just copies text without any formatting and then you can use it anywhere you want to.

PureText is a standalone application doing this job for you. It stays on your system tray and combined with a configurable hot key for copying , you can use it for copying text without formatting.

Here is a small animation where I tried copying from one word application to another.

Since Pure Text has its own shortcut key it gives you an extra option. You can copy text with formatting the usual way and without using pure text. You can also change the hot key combination from Default Windows + V to anything else in combination with shift and ctrl keys.

This utility is going to stay with me for a long time as I had been using notepad for this kind of work. Now I dont have to worry about pasting two times but only once. So if you have similar requirement you should get the Pure Text right now
