How to remove personal and meta data information from Word documents [ Microsoft Office ]
Microsoft office documents like word store lot of default information of the computer, users etc where it is created. Indirectly it might contain your personal information and other data which might be of no use to the end users to whom the document is finally distributed.
Doc Scrubber ( Via Ghacks ) can do this for you i.e. it find all the meta data information in the word file and you can delete all of them. You can also mass delete from multiple files or from a selected folder ( Mass removal of metadata ) . The information can be scrubbed are :
- Subject, keywords, comments.

- Last edited, printed , creation and saved dates.
- You can also re edit the author name and company name.
