How to search Online MSDN2 Quickly
This tip will let you search the new version of Microsoft’s Online Microsoft Developers Network just by guessing. Suppose you wanted to look for hashtable, The default namespace for this is system.collections.hashtable . Now here is the HACK.
- http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ refers to online library on MSDN2
- system.collections.hashtable is what you want to find.
- Combine bot of them and add “.aspx” at the end.
- Your link should be now http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.collections.hashtable.aspx
Easy !!! This is possible as MSDN2 offers hackable URL for the first time. However if you click on any link there, this URL will never show up. So you will need it to use it on your own. This conversion applies for namespaces, class names, members and methods.
