iKill - Prevents Virus infection from your removable drives

In case you are worried about getting virus from USB drives or Ipods to your computer, iKill is a perfect detector for this. It scans your computer for the presence of removable drives and parses the autorun.inf file for the executable it may run. It will warn you about the program which intends to run which you can set to auto delete if required.

iKill - Asks you what to do when it sees a problem with autoplay

iKill - Asks you what to do when it sees a problem with autoplay

This is what they say :

In general a USB drive of any kind, a pendrive, ipod, mp3 Players, mobile phones, all  may contain viruses, they just act as carriers, the viruses/trojans exploit the autorun.inf file  to execute themselves whenever you try to open the drive by double clicking. They even may shadow the Open, Explore, Search, etc, other features using the shell commands

This software needs .net platform 2.0 and works on most of the Windows Version. Try iKill

This tool is perfect for University students which use pendrives a lot, me as a current computer technician when a client brings me an infected pendrive I use my own antivirus software to clean it. And for that reason I haven’t tried this software.
