Ketarin : Track and Keep your software setup files updated, Always!!
Ketarin is a stand alone program which keeps your setup files of the software you use updated i.e. every time a new version of software like yahoo messenger or ccleaner is releases you need to download it again to update it. Ketarin saves one step of your by automatically downloading the new version of the software and all you need is run the setup file again.
Overall working of Ketarin
This utility tracks the changes of the URL you mention from where the software can be downloaded and notifies you if there is any new version available. Moreover you can also do the same thing manually. There are 3 ways it find the new version :
- When a direct executable is linked it compares the Version number included with the steup file.
- This service is compatible with the FileHippo FTP service where it uses their API to find the latest version of the setup
- Lastly if there is any interface or PAD file URL as download URL , Ketarin can extract the latest version of file to download.

However if there is no direct setup or zip files available for download it might not work the right way. The best I felt was using filehippo service which will always work and is more accurate.
