Launch your Favorite sites from Keyboard
Is you are using Firefox then you gonna love Shortcut Key 2 URL addon which allows you to configure any number of website asosicated with keyboard shortcut that can be launched quickly.
Create Shortcut for URL
When you add a website or URL, you get 3 options on how to open it
- Search Previously Opened Tab : If the website is already open, the focus will be shifted to the tab.
- New Tab : Open always in new tab.
- Selected Tab : Opens in the same tab.
If you have seen the image above, there is a Start up Key. Lets say your startup key is Ctrl +Q and website added has shortcut key of G, then to launch the website you need to hit CTRL + Q + G.
You can also add any URL to shortcut list right from the address bar. After you had installed this addon, it displays a small icon right in the address bar at teh end. Click on it and you will be prompted with shortcut key and open configuration. Get this Addon from here
