Macro to save all images from Outlook Mails

Robert Sparnaaij  @ How to Outlook and an MVP in Outlook has created a brilliant script / macro that can give a final answer to discussion on  saving images ( Both Inline and images as attachment )  from outlook mail , which we had been doing since 2 posts here ( Standard way ) and here ( One Note technique )

Its a small piece of code but configuring the whole thing with Microsoft Outlook is very easy, so if you get low hearing macro don’t be.

Here I would just show snapshots of the whole thing and you can go to his article to configure. That would be the best way so you don’t make any mistake on this.

Adding Code to Outlook Session

Adding Macro in Outlook to save all images

Adding Macro in Outlook to save all images

Select any Mail and run the code

Run the macro save all the images in a folder you want

Run the macro save all the images in a folder you want

Adding the code as button in Outlook

Attach Macro as button so you run it easily

Attach Macro as button so you run it easily

That’s it. Now whenever you select an email and run click on save attachment button, you will be prompted to save all the images at one place which you can browse and save them.

Now you know how it works, it is time you grab this macro from Save Embedded Pictures post of  Robert Sparnaaij and have a happy time  saving all your images.
