Messenger TV goes live in 21 Countries

By Ashish Mohta

Messenger TV for Windows Live Messenger is live now in 21 countries which include Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

This means the new service lets you watch MSN Videos with a friend as you have live text conversations about the videos you are watching together. This is similar to Inline Videos which had already been implemented in Yahoo Messenger and Google Talk.

I will be testing this out once I get back to home but till then enjoy it Messenger TV at http://MessengerTV.msn.com. See the official Announcement at Windows Live Blog

I wish this was available to Pakistani users. As for quality, I asked about it from few friends of mine in UK, and they said that the player is quite a memory hog. Rest is fine.

I had a small doubt that performance can be an issue . Most probably you will need a good internet connection but if this hogs your system its bad
