Motorola, Inc. today introduced MOTO Q 9, which is available in Italy this week. The MOTO Q 9 is based one Windows Mobile 6 operating system with a dual processor named as HSDPA/UMTS engine. This makes it capable of download speed up to 3.6 MBPS over the air download using broadband. The statistics says , it will aloww the user to download music tracks onto Q9 in 6 seconds ( without using the computer !! Get the feeling of speed?)

“The MOTO Q 9 was developed as a multi-purpose communication device that is easy to use and doesn’t compromise on experiences,” said Bruce Hawver, corporate vice president of Enterprise Devices, Motorola. “This smartphone offers state-of-the art voice quality technology, messaging1, speed, processing power, keyboard and display packaged within a sleek design for the modern consumer.”

The MOTO Q 9 Features:

• Messaging machine : Choose from eight messaging inboxes for your corporate and/or personal email including, Hotmail, AOL, Gmail, Yahoo! or other email providers, as well as SMS and MMS messages.
• Speed racer : The MOTO Q 9 operating on HSDPA/UMTS at up to 3.6Mbps .Synch quickly with USB 2.0.
• Power plus : Its TI OMAP 2420 processor and 96MB of RAM, rocks. Its more than enough to use most of the mobile applications. Pre-loaded document editing allows you to create and refine it at run.
• QWERTY Handset -This is common feature coming with every smart phone and its a necessity. Its supported here. Check the image.
• Loads of space for music and movies — Supports 2GB of optional removable microSD storage and 256MB4 of on-board flash memory. This can store around 1000 songs and 10 hours of video (MPEG4)5. Integrated Bluetooth® wireless technology stereo profiles (A2DP and AVRCP) compatible with Bluetooth enabled stereo headset and take calls all at the same time.
• Camera: A 2.0 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom and video captures life at 15 frames per second but now mots of the handsets come with 3 minimum. Thats a down for it
• Supports Enterprise Solutions: It provides a thin client secure platform to access SharePoint, corporate Intranets, and internal Web applications, and also supports standards-based platform to extend enterprise applications such as push email, SAP, Siebel, Oracle.
• Smart Clarity: It has full color screen which is adaptive display technology. Light sensors on the front and back help automatically adjust screen and keyboard brightness for optimum usability and readability.

Overall its one of the best phones Motorola has ever created. Indeed a smart phone. Now all we have to wait for the comparison with other Nokia phones and Sony.
