      Now that was funny! Naukri is offering you a job and earning by mGinger! All you have to do is to read msgs. :D

    • Ashish Mohta, October 22, 2007:

      @Nirmal: Haha Yes and guess what They have hired infosys people for sending mails….That sucks big time….Digg and stumble this if you can.,

    • Brown Baron, October 22, 2007:

      Haha that is downright twisted! I guess reading messages is part of the job description too lol.

    • Ashish Mohta, October 23, 2007:

      @Brown: Lol Yeah….I guess I will also use Naukri.com for this and sell my affiliate links or atleast increase my site subscription…HAHA

    • indyank, October 23, 2007:

      ashish, people can’t use their organisation’s name for their private activities…

      not sure whether it is from a real infosys mail id or there is something fishy here…

      if the mail is from a person claiming to be an infosys employee and if it is also true, the concerned person is in trouble for sure….

    • Ashish Mohta, October 23, 2007:

      @indyank: I did not apply for infosys I am sure of that but I cant make out who..coz I applied it in batch. I am shooting her an email today

    • Anand, October 24, 2007:

      @indyank

      it’s from a gmail id. And I believe there should be a lot many ‘Priya’s on rolls for Infosys to actually take action.

      @Ashish
      I would like you to forward this to Naukri.com itself. I would still want to believe that it’s something not from their side..

    • Jaspreet, October 31, 2007:

      Ashish,

      Do you by any chance remember the job description ? This must have been a consultant job who would have advertised for Microsoft Tech reqs. Naukri.com can not possibly check each and every consultant who buys job postings from it.

    • Ashish Mohta, November 1, 2007:

      @Jaspreet: I dont have any idea. I used a mass appply at job protal. One of them got me this. I can understand that, but I hope They heard

    • Jaspreet, November 1, 2007:

      I work for Naukri.com and I can promise you we most of the times pro-actively block such fraud consultants like the Nigerian job scammers et al. However, sometimes these consulants miss our eye and that is when we have to take a reactive step in response to any complaint

      I apologise for this over-sight and would request you to continue using Naukri

    • Ashish Mohta, November 1, 2007:

      Hi Jaspreet,

      Glad Naukri.com heard us. I was wondering if you are from their team. Great

      I will use it for sure and no problem. Even we understand that its not easy and We have trust on the team. I would say it again. Great You heard us and this can help you finding bugs.

      Ashish

      Sanjeev,, have you done anything about the SPAM your Naukri.com generates.

      I registered to legitemely look for a job, but even after emailing your abuse@naukri.com service for last 2 months, nothing has been fixed. Drop me a mail on kiran_k@hotmail.com if you want to do somethign about it?

      The internet is full of people sick of your company’s spam. Also why can anyone register with their email ID with no activation key or any other system. How stupid is your operations?

      Come on man! How do you like to be Spammed! ????

    • Jaspreet, March 24, 2008:

      Kiran,

      We @ Naukri.com have been working real hard to stop spam. We have also introduced validation of email and mobile numbers to stop spam. This way someone might still register an account on Naukri with your email address but the account would not be validated unless the user clicks on a validation mail that goes subsequent to the user’s registration.

      You would realise that Naukri.com has been alive for more than 10 years and back then the issues of spam never arose. So, its a painfully slow exercise to validate existing accounts but we are trying our best to get them all validated to ensure there are lesser complaints of spam.
