After the success of the Linux based 770, Nokia has officially unveiled yet another Linux based internet tablet, the N800, at the consumer electronics show in Las Vegas.The new feature packed N800 has a strong resemblance to its older counterpart.Major changes include:
- A built in VGA camera for video conferencing.
- An ergonomically positioned microphone.
- More memory
- A faster CPU.
- Better Expansion ports.
- Sleeker look.
- It comes with 128 MB of RAM and 128 MB flash meomory card.
With the announcement of Nokia’s N800, the open source development kit for the Internet development kit has also released its version 3.0 named ‘Bora’. This version of Maemo has the latest scratch box Apophis R4 as a cross compiling development, new flash 3.0 for N800 and N770.
