Personal Vibe : Track your Windows Activity
Personal Vibe is a single user single machine windows activity loggers which logs all windows activity made by user like moving a window or starting an application etc. This is one of latest Microsoft Research prototype which uses compact SQL express to store data.
This application is useful if you would like to track how much time you had spent on any of the applications. This is similar to the software Manic Time which we talked in our post Track your application usage statistics in real time but Personal Vibe has more features.
- It can replay what applications which were opened and what you did with them like a movie.
- Records the title, the size, the location and the z-order.
- For many windows it also stores the document or URL that is open
The interface to view this statistics is very interesting. It has been divided into Windows, Documents and applications. You can drill down each day and see what applications were opened. It gives a thumbnail view of all the applications which were tracked at that time.
If you are looking for a windows application logger give Personal Vibe a try
