Google City Tours is one the most interesting Labs project of Google which definitely should roll out into Google Maps and with the features it has I am pretty sure this is going to be another demanding feature like What is here recently added to Google Maps.
City tours is basically Mapping of popular buildings spotted perfectly on Google Maps. This makes it easy for travelers and tourist when out for site seeing. I checked out City Tour for San Francisco, USA and it located all major buildings which you can cover around.

Along with this it also can schedule out your whole day depending on distance you will have to walk. I find this particularly interesting. Now imagine this mapped with nearby hotels for lunch and dinner or even movie can make it more interesting. Any body want to mashup.
