Samsung Q1 Ultra - The Tiny PC (with Video)

Samsung now has come up with a much better version, called the Q1 Ultra, which will go on sale at major electronics stores starting next month. The biggest improvement: Even though the Ultra is a tablet computer, still able to accept handwritten notes and meant to be controlled by a stylus, this new model now has a built-in keyboard. Its also called as UMPC or Ultra-Mobile PC. This is one of the smallest pc that runs window and can be very handy for people who are in run. Asus R2H with GPS is similar to this but Q1 is highly advanced in over all feature.

Features of Samsung Q1

  • BlackBerry-style keyboard but it makes writing emails and typing in Web addresses practical.
  • The Q1 Ultra is a sleek, shiny, black tablet with a bright, sharp seven-inch screen
  • Built-in stand on the back so it can be used upright.
  • It weighs about 1.5 pounds, is less than nine inches long and five inches wide, and is under an inch thick.
  • Runs full version of Windows XP and Vista

Drawbacks of Samsung Q1

  • High Price $799
  • Low resolution
  • Keyboards are uncomfortable for the first time
  • Does not auto complete words. Not very smart

Overall It seems a good piece of hardware which can be used by people like journalist and business man. As things are going smaller and smaller we need these kind of devices which anybody can move around with. What do you think ?
