ShareWatch : Find who is connected to a computer and what files they are accessing
Many a times we leave our shared folder unattended or there is so much activity on your hard drive without any process or application running, it only leaves you wondering whats wrong with your computer. I face this situation in my office a lot but never realized it until I ran this software.
ShareWatch lets you track shared folder access to your computer including who is accessing and which files are being accessed along with it. Moreover this software also allows you to do a lookup on username in case if there is any anonymous acess and allows you to disconnect people from it.
Then it takes the next step and allows you to even watch what other people are sharing and who is accessing them. However this might not be possible if the computers are properly secured but you can still watch your computer any time.
Features :
- Watch shares on local and remote servers.
- Shows the users and computers that are connected to each share, along with what files are open.
- Allows you to disconnect any file, user, computer, or share.
- Address book lookup to show you the details about each user connected (this feature is turned off by default)
- Computer lookup to show you both the computer name and IP address of the computers connected.
- Can be run as a tray application.
- Supports top-most and transparency.
- Works on Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista.
- Multithreaded to allow servers to be queried independently from each other while not blocking each other or the user interface.
