Tag Crumb : Connecting people with What and Where
Tag Crumb is a Location mapping service which allows you to mark the places where you went on Google Maps and then lets you share this unique map.. The magic begins when you connect with friends, who also use the service, and you start seeing what they had seen and tagged it on the maps.
If you are wondering what makes it different from other geo mapping service then you need to know the options you get when yoy tag,
- Name
- Notes : You can leave hints, add review and even how much money one can spend here.
- Tags : This is important as related tag can let you find more near places.
- Address : Now that will be really easy when I travel the place which you already had traveled
- Website : If at all that place has website it can help others to find more before they travel.
These options make the geo tagging on maps more accurate. It not only contains what places is that but also address, notes website and much more.
Imagine all your friends using it and if he or she is connected to you, it will let you discover, organize and share interesting stories, opinions and insider tips about any place he or she been.
There are three important part Tag Crumb : Tags, Cities and Country. Tags connect to cities which connects to country. Thus you can think of searching either upside down or straight. If you are going to a new country start with Where and then what.
I tried exploreing what kind of tagging is being used by the people and its pretty much impressive. People are actually using it damn well. I have seen services which stay for a while but this seems to be doing pretty well. Check out TagCrumbs
