I guess this is more geared towards a business user rather home user but its pretty interesting that they have registery backups which to be frank I have never done though I have considered to do it sometime….Also the 256 Bit encryption for backups sounds promising…

  • Ashfame, March 26, 2008:

The software is good considering it provides 256bit encryption and you are giving it for free. If you give it to me then I will use the software for my personal backing purpose (both on home and server) and will help my friends who are in need of backing solutions without violating the license agreement. :D

Sounds like a good system for managing workstation backups. I work with GIS data where most of teh data is stored on servers but a lot of teh documents that use this data are stored locally. This seems like a good tool to make sure that ype of data gets backed up ona regualr basis. It seem liek a tool I would be very interested in.

  • ReviewSaurus, March 26, 2008:

The software looks pretty powerful. However it’ll be more suited for small business owners. However, what is interesting is that the server only takes 7 mb of memory and that’s really the biggest positive point which I see here.

Hi I would be interested in this. We have a office of 4-5 ppl here and we need to take backup everyday. This can be very useful to me. More over the encryption is providing is very nice.

  • abhishek, March 27, 2008:

It looks quite cool and powerful….looks easy to use good for professional use also. i would like to explore more and test it complete strength in terms of taking heavy back up if got a licence of it.

Does it also provide to create and store or upload the back on the web server i provide?

  • Ashish Mohta, March 27, 2008:

Hi Abhishek, Thats one question I was looking forward somebody to ask. yes it does. You can upload the back to your ftp and get it back from there too. Thats pretty cool feature.

  • Michael Kornegay, April 3, 2008:

This sounds like a very useful product for backing up the files and folders on my home computers to a central location. Right now, this is not a simple task.

    Thanks for your consideration.

    Michael
