My BlackBerry doesnt have the complete data plan and hence it restricts me using many applications and being a big fan of Twitter I was missing an application which can work on my BlackBerry configured over WIFI which has Internet.

Today morning when I asked on Twitter for a client which works on BlackBerry without data plan, Nirmal and Praval pointed me to Twixtreme, a blackberry twitter client which works like a charm over WIFI. Here are the snapshots :

Though I find the menus fewer when compared to other clients but a BlackBerry Twitter client which is free and works over WIFI is a great tradeoff. So whats your favorite twitter client and why do you use it when it comes to feature ?

PS : I tried other free clients like Uber Twitter which did not work over WIFI and I used TwitterBerry which was too heavy on my BlackBerry 8520. So I am sticking with Twixtreme

Update : If you are looking forward to upload picture using Twixtreme, go to your image gallery and then click on menu to select “Send to Twixtreme”. This will first upload picture to Twitpic and then update your status on twitter.
