Web 3.0 AI Commonsense - part 2
By Ashish MohtaWas internet ever made for connected data or was it for sharing data ? It might be confusing but if you really go into history of internet it was never built to get people connected to each other but to share data, share physics document, codes and information.
Then what happened ? Big Boom somebody realized the power of internet and spinned it with every computer in the world and we emerged as “www” to web 2.0.But we did something wrong!!!! You might have to wait for another post to get to know what we did wrong because right now web 3.0 is what you need to know to know actually what went wrong in web 2.0 and the way internet is wrong in terms of architecture, yeah its wrong!
Continuing our discussion from Web3.0 AI Commonsense part 1 where the response and query of readers were amazing lets move to see more what Web 3.0 has more for us.
- Web3.0 will be more semantic: “I am going on summer vacation with 3000$ bucks and i have a kid of 11 yr”. Web 3.0 will answer even this question of yours meaning it will be more of humanized search and common sense rather than keywords.
- Web3.0 is not just about shopping: Web3.0 is going to deliver a lot more than just your shopping.Amazon Google and ebay will evolve in terms of that , if they dont it will be dead state. It will converge to on demand architecture rather than keyword based.
- Web3.0 will change the leaders of Internet: Don’t assume google ebay and others will be the future leader of web3.0.There are already sites which are evolving in terms of web 3.0 and might give a fair competition to them.As you move from on technology to another there are chance of change in leadership.
- Google Page Rank concept is already Web 3.0: Yeah it surely is.Web 3.0 is more focused on mining the human interpretation of terms.Page rank is based on how popular your link is and who makes it more popular ? YOU. Thats how it gives rank by voting system.
- Wikipedia will be web 3.0: Wikipedia is driven my human data not by any other information based on search engines.I have been hearing news Wikipedia might challenge Google in forthcoming future and It will. The only reason is its more driven by semantics.
There is a saying in Software industry ” Any software of version of 2.0 is short lived slowly stepping to 3.0 which has radical changes. This happens because it takes one generation to learn and grow.Windows is a serious example 1.0 was buggy 2.0 came up with serious fixes and 3.0 version was a instant success.”
If you are a blogger using wordpress , we can see the same flow. WP 1.0 series has lot of features missing. WP 2.0 is coming up with fixes lot of them and some new features. If you continue to live with blogging for few yrs WP 3.0 will rock.
So what do you think ? Whats your views on Web 3.0 ? Lets us discuss in the comments!!!!!
