Wireless Music Skype Phone by ASUSTeK

ASUSTeK has launched which it claims is the world’s first wireless music skype phone. The phone comes equipped with high quality speaker that turns into an MP3 player.Unlike skype calls with wire constraint or even blue tooth enabled this phone supports 802.11 b+ g, thus allowing users to roam around while chatting.Users are no longer tied to their PC or notebooks.

With Media Player support users can play, pause, change songs, Manage their Music Library. They can even watch DVD or play games on PC while making call through SKYPE Feature.

It Sounds similar to Skype has introduced WIFI phones which launched around last november .

The featured available with the phone are :

  • Free International Call with Skype Support.
  • WI-FI Technology.
  • Wireless Music Player Function.
  • Remote Control Feature.
  • Microsoft Media Player Support.
  • High Quality Speakers.
  • Quality Wireless Signal.
  • Larger Signal Coverage.

This phone sounds promising but the it lacks on the looks. I would wait or opt for a different kind of phone which can support this feature. What do you think ? Would you go for it ?
