Did you try formatting ? Since it is showing in your computer it could be the bad index problem. See if you can deep format it.

I will also suggest you to try in any other OS like Linux or Mac and see if the the problem persists.

I have connected my flash drive to my PC. While working, suddenly the power was off and came after 2 mins. When I tried to open it, it is saying "Please insert a disk into drive X".

I tried all knows ways but went in vain.
[1] I tried, un-plugged and plugged it again.
[2] I tried, system reboot by disconnecting the flash drive and connecting it after the boot.
[3] I tried, changing the drive letter.
[4] I tried, connecting it to another PC

It consists of some imp data. Please help.

2. What version of Windows you're using
3. What edition of Need For Speed are you playing ?
4. Is the game original or pirated ?
5. What versions of drivers you're using.

I am not able to run NFS game on machine. Install was smooth and after installation when i execute the game from program menu. A black screen come and then disappear. With error message Nfs.exe encountered a problem.

I am using Intel graphics card q45 chipset.

i want to ask you how to open the maps offline folder which i saved from ripping i try to open it by clicking server and select folder , take tile as map , then zooming factor , then type location and click enter but i didn’t see any thing

@qiora : Are you sure the reset had been done properly ? Are you able to ping it ? The reason why I am asking this is because you are using the correct IP address which is the default one for linksys router.

Also I would like you to check if any Firewall isnt blocking it.

I am also using the Linksys wireless WRT54G. I have a cable modem instead of a ADSL modem. My LAN setting is set at obtaining IP address automatically. I had already reset the router to make sure the router ip is reset to 192.168.1.1. Still, no acess to the admin interface. Any idea?

you can do that but it might not work. You might ask your ISP for a different IP by calling them. If you request them well they might. They have range of IP that can be used.

What you are looking is a IP changer i guess.But why do you want to do that.?

However you can Try this

1. Start the Registry Editor (REGEDT32.EXE)
2. Find the following key:
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services \LanmanServer\Parameters
3. From the Edit menu, choose Add Value. Type "Users" (without quotation marks) in the Value Name field. Select REG_DWORD for the Data Type and choose OK. Enter the value of 0xFFFFFFFF in the String field and choose OK.
4. Exit the Registry Editor.
5. Either shut down and restart Windows NT, or from a command prompt type:
NET STOP SERVER

And then type:
NET START SERVER

i am working now at acompany for elctronic archeiving and i have 20 PC with vista inviroment one of this PC the main that have all sheets ..ok the other PCs are enter the main PC in the same time to implement their work ..ok the problem now that it can't enter more than 10 PCs in the same time and when i try to increase this limit in advanced share it was be impossible to increase than 10 .. i know htat there is some way to increase this limit from registry (regedit) but i don't know how .... do you have any formation about this way

Hmm I doubt you can exceed that limit. Even in Windows 2003 server we cannot increase more then 2. We need to get the Windows Terminal Server license for that. Or you can use any third part software for that.

I would assume it depends on how the service is being called. For example if you use localhost in the url it bypasses the hardware layers ( 5 layers of TCP IP ) but if you are using a proper URL then it will first get resolved into IP address using DNS and then again get back to same machine.

Do you want to restrict in when you share a file or number of users logged in using remote session ?

it told that i had to change my oprating system and used any server but i need to know if there any way to solve this problem on vista system

ya....but for any system to ping from internet to a host in stub domain is not possible unless its configured so in NAT.....
if i run a normal client server program using socket in a same PC, its not neccesary for it to go through all the layers of the stack(i mean the 4 layers).....for sure its not required to traverse the physical layer....how does the layering principle works when a client and server runs on the same PC??

I am aware that you can have multiple domains on same IP address. DNS on that IP can resolve to different names this means that it must be resolving to its ip address in order to send the request forward.

But i dont think you can ping an internal IP address using gateway. Unless you are in the network you cannot ping it.

I had worked in some projects where we used to map internal IP to domain names but when we used to ping the domain name we used to get the IP address of the gateway not that internal ones.
