It works now. This was a problem with the File permission.

Just on another through did anybody try changing the permission ? It seems many people at the time of upgrade have forgotten to change permission so that the plugin can write into that file.

It seems the only plugin available for BBpress to create sitemap doesnt work any more with > 1.0 Version.

Any body else facing the problem.

BB press is out for Beta Finally and its pretty fast with Admin Interface designed neatly. Now if somebody can come up with nice theme

I think its better not to use any plugin unless it is stable. Wait till the BBpress comes out of beta

@pertinax : yeah Dicey enough. AT first use I though it worked but as I tested more and more it was having issues. Else we will have to wait till bbpress comes with a solution.

Thanks, I will opt for the standard links and then finalise permalinks later, as you say it looks rather dicey.

@pertinax : That plugin I gave it a try for sometimes but there were lot of problems with it. In fact like you said the multi page also doesnt work. I tried extending a thread and it went mad.

Does it give issues any where else ? For me it had problems at many other places also and sometimes even when I replied it just used to redirect and sometimes not. If possible you can try pasting the rules and see if somebody can also help you out

Have been looking at implementing nice permalinks on a bbPress site, and came across your fine plugin. I have it working ok, but testing reveals it fails to work with multipage threads, eg:
http://domain.com/forums/test/your-first-topic/page/2
breaks and redirects to //

I had a look at the rewrites and similar but it seems ok (though I am not an expert), so I am at a loss. Obviously, for my own purposes I would love to see a fix, but I wonder also if you have the same bug, as no threads here seem to be that long?
