Cannot access the Linksys admin interface

this is a follow-up question in reference to your post "How to configure and connect WRT54G2 Linksys router with ADSL Broadband Modem".

I am also using the Linksys wireless WRT54G. I have a cable modem instead of a ADSL modem. My LAN setting is set at obtaining IP address automatically. I had already reset the router to make sure the router ip is reset to 192.168.1.1. Still, no acess to the admin interface. Any idea?

@qiora : Are you sure the reset had been done properly ? Are you able to ping it ? The reason why I am asking this is because you are using the correct IP address which is the default one for linksys router.

Also I would like you to check if any Firewall isnt blocking it.
